My driver side exhaust manifold has a crack in it. it barely leaks, but i need to fix it. i bought some bbk tuned length ceramics on craigslist for $140. just wondering if anyone has some tips or helpful advice for installation. any steps that could make it wasy easier than just wingin it?

thanks in advance

It really depends on the motor, as already mentioned.

4.6 is a wicked pain, 5.0 shouldn't be too difficult.

+1 on what motor you have. When i put the longtubes in my 94, I disconnected the A/C lines from the compressor, unbolted the steering shaft and tucked it up in the k-member, unbolted the motor mounts and lifted the motor a bit. Shit went in like buttah with a few choice words and empty promises I made to my baby...

All I can say is ur in for one hell of a shitty time unless dropping the k member to do it. Customer decided he wanted long tubes last second when I was doing a motor swap on her 2004 gt the motor was already in. All I can say is holy pain in the ass
