Well at first I thought it was my dimmer switch because if you switch from one to the other sometimes my lights would just go out and you had to flick it back and forth and it would come back on. Well now I will just be driving down the road and my lights will start getting dim the gets brighter and sometimes will go off all by its self. Im just wondering if anyone has heard of this same problem before i start tearing into all of my wiring.

More likely than not it's the pigtail that plugs into the headlight sw.You can get the h/l sw and pigtail at your local parts house.
