Those heads are not bad at all for a daily driver, you'll pick up 35-40HP but...$524.95 is the price per head...

For $1250 you can pick up a set of AFR 165's/TFS Twisted Wedge Heads and make more power.

What kind of budget are you on??

Throw up some price you can afford and we will certainly send you in the right direction :happydrunks:

Agreed. The budget is gonna be EVERYTHING. AFRs are supposed to be direct replacement almost other than possible pushrod changes. If you can swing the 1250 that would be the best choice. You can get decent gains from gt40p heads though....

My budget is $1,200,00, for the heads, the Intake manifold $400,00, Can I keep the original gas pump and also the original injectors ?

I want to spend $2000.00 max.

i would spring the money for the afrs if you have it. you can find a used manifold, tb, and 24lb injectors on any of the mustang forums in the classifieds section. i would get a new pump. you can also get a used mass air meter.

I fitted afr's, well impressed with the quality, fitting, and performance.
Ok a cheaper price would have been nicer, but quality nearly always costs. ;)

if your budget is that much then get AFR's no question about it. you can even find some used ones and get a badass port job for that price

Yeah check around. Corral.net always has tons of stuff for sale. Buy the intake used, that will save you a lot of money. For less than the price of a new edelbrock performer I got the upper/lower 3/8 spacer 24# injectors and maf. My afr heads were brand new and came with roller rockers and ARP bolts for 250$ less than just the heads brand new. Look around you will find the deals.
