From your description it sounds like its leaking around the ect sensor. If thats the case just take it out clean it up and reseal it with some teflon tape. Your liable to spend more time and money trying to eliminate it then just getting a used or new one and fixing it right. Im not sure what you mean by corroding the waterpump and we cant tell where your leak is coming from without looking at it, but if you can clear this up a lil bit maybe we can give you more helpful answers.</blockquote>
