The longer he is in his powerband in one gear the quicker his laps will be, not to mention the more time he can spend hitting his marks instead of shifting. Auto-x cars require a different build than any other type of racing. Also depending on his class he may not even be able to do a headswap, but if he is going with aftermarket cams I doubt that's the case, could be just beyond his mechanical ability.I'd personally just do a kenne bell, suspension and tires and be way faster, but to each their own.</blockquote>
