I'm at the point where I'm tired of spending hours reading threads and drooling at am parts all night. I need to wrap this thing up.
Here's where I'm at:
Bbk- shorties, catted x, cai, MAF
Professional Products 75mm tb plenum and tb
Steeda clutch cable quadrant and cable
Mm RLCA
Upr RUCA
Bama SCT tune
3.73
Tri ax shifter
Stifflers flsfc

I have a mm phb waiting to go in, I'm getting a new top

I'm looking at the Eibach pro system plus for my vert
I will get mm cc plates
I will get mm RUCA as I hate my upr double adjustable RUCA

I will need new wheels as mine are all pitted and scratched, one is bent...
Just not sure what the best sizing would be as I still need to rotate and balance.
Like 17x9 or 18x9?

Wife said absolutely no fi or cam or nos

So, trying to see if any of you have any of these items and anything I should know about them before purchasing all if this. Are there any contradictions, anything I'm missing?

May possibly get 4.10 for a bit more pep in my step.

I want the modding done by end of year so I can focus on other things.

Just trying to get your opinions / experiences to help me finalize my game plan and avoid wasting more money buying parts I regret buying...

Thank you in advance!

What kind of drop are you looking for?

The pro kit will give you a decent drop but you will still have wheel gap.
If you go with the H&R super sports, it will drop it a bit more than the pro kit (about .5" more) and give it a badass stance.

As far as wheels, if you want to rotate, make sure you get a square 9" setup. 275's on all 4 corners possibly with a 1" spacer out back.
If you go 17's, they will weight less than 18's and you can drop the car lower. 18's however look better and fill up the wheel well more.

I'd also suggest getting a Mach 1 grille delete.
And definitely go for the 4.10s if youre staying n/a and don't do too much highway driving.

Wifey says no more power as I drive too aggressive already...
I was looking at the pro system plus to keep it between stock and a full lowering stance as I live in a pot hole ridden area.
It's my dd. I want the full blown mm setup but don't think I'd ever actually utilize half of it just going to work and store...
So, with a 1.5" drop the 18's won't have any rubbing issues? I already have 1.4" hubcentric spacers out back.
I also have 140k miles on it, so to go fi without blowing a rod I'd have to forge it.
Just thinking for the type of driving I do and the amount of money I'd have to put into it to do it right its not really worth it. I sit in traffic to work and home everyday.

I've come to the conclusion if I wanted a bad fast mustang from the get go I should have just waited and bought a Termi coupe. But, I have the GT now and I'm keeping it.

Thanks for the quick responses!

1"-1.5" will look good. Mines 2" and it's just too much. And as stated above, 4.10s are fun around the city, but on the highway they suck IMO.

1.5" drop with 18s will look great.

If you're stuck in traffic alot, with a 5 speed i'd recommend getting 3.55 or 3.73s.
Also if it's you dd, i agree a full blown MM suspension will be pretty useless. Nice to have, but useless.

Honestly, a nice drop, some cool wheels, and gears will make that car a whole other animal.
You'll fall in love with it once again.

while its tempting to throw all kinds of nice suspension at it you have to really think if you would get your money out of it if its your DD and your just doing reg everyday driving around. Gears and wheels will make a difference.

Technically, its both if ours. We bought it on our honeymoon. I wanted a mustang again and just wanted a convertible.
Since she can't drive stick, yet, its "my" car.
Thanks for all the feedback! Trust me, I WANT a full mm suspension AND fully built 1000 hp turbo motor with adjustable boost! Maybe one day, like when my motor blows...
I take my dads Vette out once in a while and long for that type of performance in my stang, but to get there costs a lot more than I'm willing to pay at the moment....

Anybody here from Houston, by chance?
