Help Please!!!

No spark at the coil, i have power at the plug that goes into the coil so that means the icm is good right? Ireplaced the coil thinking its old it just went bad but no nothing, i was told its probably the pip but the dizzy was replaced less than a year ago is that a possibility to go bad that fast? ive been reading all the forum threads and have trouble shot as much as i possibly can and still nothing ive got fuel ive got crank, ive got power to my icm, power to the plug that goes to the coil but there is where it stops, no fire. any ideas?

Check the little wire inside the dizzy cap, strator wire I believe its called. I used to have a yellow car that had one that would let it do the same issues as you, sometimes even fire shortly but then die when the connection broke apart.

I did actually and its in tact and not damaged im at a loss the car ran fine i parked it at lunch time came out after work and nothing ive been tryin to figure it out all weekend?

What did you replace the old dizzy with?

An autozone special the previous owner replaced it

how well do you know the old owner?
maybe he can swap the dizzy out for you.
I have had a remanned dizzy not last a week, and the one I have now has been good for 2 years.

Get a replacement dizzy from advanced auto or find someone that will let you borrow a good/working 94-95 dizzy to try out. I've been reading that Autozone, kragen, etc. stores sell the reman ones with bad PIP sensors
