I finally found a good OBDII reader that was on sale so I put it to work today. I've had my check engine light on for a few months now, including when the car was etested (and failed terribly of course). Etest shop told me that I needed new REAR o2's, so I replaced them. It was then re-tested, but none of my numbers came down at all. I got my conditional pass because the next repair was new cats, which an OE system was over $2,000. lol Anyway, here are the codes I'm getting. These are "fresh" since the Etest, as I re-set the system after I replaced the O2's. P0175 - system too rich - this is a "freeze frame" code and here are further details: Fuel System 1 status: CLOSED LOOP Fuel System 2 status: NOT SUPPORTED Calculated load value: 24.71% Engine Coolant Temp: 203 F Short Term Fuel Trim BANK 1: -3.91% Long Term Fuel Trim BANK 1: -8.59% Short Term Fuel Trim BANK 2: -0.78% Long Term Fuel Trim BANK 2: -16.41% Engine RPM: 678 RPM Speed Sensor: 8.08 MPH P0153 - o2 circuit slow response (Bank 2, Sensor 1) P0133 - o2 circuit slow response (Bank 1, Sensor 1) I also have these same 3 codes duplicated in "pending" status ... not sure if that matters at all. Important info - Emissions test diagnostics told me that my cats were running at 2% efficiency, so I know they're shot. I don't really care if I'm only getting these codes because of my cats, but I think there's more to it then just the cats. I've lost about 100 kilometers per tank in gas mileage. So the first question would be are these codes being set just because of my cats? And if not, what's your guess at the problem(s)? Also, would "sensor 1" be pre or post cat? I wonder if the Etest guy told me to replace the wrong ones...?
