I have a 94 cobra. I had someone change rockers arms about a month ago using the same 1.7 rockers. Anyway car idle and surging was happening after change rockers. After driving to and from work today I decided maybe I needed to reset ecu. Well disconnected negative cable for maybe 30 mins. While waiting I notice the guy had hooked up egr hose and wires wrong, corrected that and tried to start car it turns over, but that's it. Apparently I did something wrong trying to reset ecu. I need some help on a bad way

Did you verify your firing order? 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8.....

Well, let's start with the basics. Check for fuel and spark.

Thanks, got it fixed. Apparently I blew the ecu and fuel pump 20 amp fuse. Changed fuse runs great.
