I suggest putting 2 bolts in the crank opposite one another. Then use a pry bar and wedge it between the 2 bolts to use as leverage. That should help you lock up the crank while you hit the crank bolt with an impact gun. The most important thing is that you're turning the bolt the correct direction. You probably know that but just wanted to make sure because if you turn it counter clockwise you're only tightening it.
