what's the difference??? i saved one as a .png and the other as a .jpeg

i really can't tell that much of a difference

you only save it as .png when you have a clear backround. like my sig, see instead of having a rectangle box around it, I did a transparent backround and now the background matches the site color. If I where to save it as a jpg it would be white ..its hard to explain..
