I just installed a set of xenon HID's for my headlights.
However when i turn on the high beams, the headlights flickr and nothing happens. We tried them for a bit, and the headlights just turned off.
My high beam light is also always on when i turn on my headlights, regardless of whether they are really on.

Anyone know what could be causing this?

I would question the wiring before the bulbs. Did you use relays? Have you tested any of the wires feeding teh ballasts for voltage?

no i did not test any of the wires. i ordered a kit for my fogs from the same place and they worked just fine.
as i was installing the headlight HID's everything plugged in correctly. installing them is fairly simple, therefor i'm sure i did not wire them incorrectly.
it may be a bad wire though like you said.

i just know when i put on the highbeams, the headlights completely go out.

I recommend contacting the manufacturer. Sounds like the bulbs could be bad.

bulbs are brand new and dont seem to have a problem. they work properly, just not the high-beams, but i'll look into it more.

I had the same problem with my v6. It's the wiring to the ballast, it could be connected more than one way. if you reverse the way the connector is put on it SHOULD be corrected.

Those plug in hrns's have known to be wrong since they make them so cheaply. Again test the wires for voltage and see what you have. Did you use relays or just wire it straight?
