can someone school me on hids? I dont wanna spend 300 bucks on 'em and i see lots and lots of ebay kits and some of my friends are using 'em on their cars and trucks and stuff. help me out!

I got VVME. They are okay. But I hear the DMM kits are nice.

DDM is good. My VVME's in my truck flicker on start up all the time. :dontknow:

Mine do that too. Wish it wouldn't but I guess that's the price you pay for 60 dollars shipped from China. I have a friend who can get me some that are a lot higher quality and more expensive but he knows the dealer so can get them for 50 bucks so maybe down the road I'll swap them out.

My VVME's flicker upon start up and that is it! :dontknow: but it doesn'y bother me 1 bit I paid about $100 for 3 kit's and have been very reliable and bright as hell.... I dont see any difference between my hid's and so called better kit's I can live with the 3 second flicker upon turning them on...

which kit do we need for both the high/low beams and the fog lights. My birthday is tomorrow and I think I will get a new set of lights and hids top/bottom.

for the driving lights too? Can't stand when someone goes through the trouble of upgrading the head lights and doesn't do the driving lights.

there is also the option for a dual in, dual out hid hrns?

finally do we need the slim ballast as I thought there was plenty of room up there to mount one and they are chaper for teh raptor kits.

We dont need the slims. I dont and everything works fine. The Only thing is when you look up your fogs you have to get a different number through them... not the standard 8?? whatever we have...
