At high really RPMs your motor is just struggling to find *any* sort of air that it can suck in. So the more you give it the chance to suck air in, the better you will be. Plus with a high duration cam, the overlap period is longer which helps scavenge air in from the exhaust going out, which helps a lot especially when the exhaust is being forced out so quickly. I don't know much about 5.0s but I know that the intake plays a huge part to high RPMs too. I just don't know how good a GT40 intake is.</blockquote>
