I was on the way home yesterday on a 2 lane road with the speed limit at 55. I was going a comfy 60 when i got behind a slow poke going 40 mph... well i put my blinker on and went to pass. The passing lane was soon ending so i decide to punch it... when i did it jumped out of gear like it was about to down shift but the rev's went to like 5 to 6 k and then it started pulling "kinda popped and bit" .This happened a long time ago when i was turning right at an intersection with a car coming so i was trying to get out the way and it reved up and then "popped" into gear. This was about 2 or 3 months ago... Could someone tell me what could be the problem? Could the filter be clogging up or something? I'm way behind on an auto oil change but i don't want to change the oil since its like $120 for the trans to fall out the next week. Could someone please shine some light on this problem.
