I just didn't check the oil until it seized up lol. Major fail I know, but oh well. I have a much better setup now because of it.

It felt good, got it down to 13.0 I think. I'm used to 2V's because i've had one for a while, but if I had the chance to do it all over again, I would have built a nasty 347 pushrod.

yea im just looking to make my daily driver have a little punch. i mean shit if i get ported pi heads and stage 2 cams and full bolt ons and 3.73 gears i think ill be doing pretty good for a daily driver then when those overweight new camaros pull up ill give them a run for their money when i turn the bottle on. in my opinion the new camaro owners are just douce bags they thing that car is the shiznit and it really isnt i mean yea its got a bunch of power but hell it weights a crap load. i have a good bit of weight on them since our sn's are much much lighter and if i can hit 350-375 at the wheels in my car with the spray then i should out perform them easily since they are probably making the same at the wheels, but they are way hevier and have sorry gearing. basically my ultimate goal is to out due the new camaro

With 328 to the wheels I was seeing 12.3's, I upped the shot to a 150 (so around 340hp) and I was consistent at 12.0's.

If you have P.I. heads with some goods cams, those 3.73's, and a 100 shot, you'll be good for low 12's. With sticky tires of course.

That was with porting.

Without porting it wouldn't be too much slower, maybe 2 or 3 tenths in the 1/4 mile.

do you think i could pull on new slomaros with a 75 shot 3.73s and just a regular pi swap and bolt ons? if not then what about with stage 1 cams?

To be honest I don't know, I don't know how fast they are.

Just go with what you can afford, and if you can afford everything at once, do it lol.

It might be worth the wait to save and get them ported before doing the swap.

Are you really going to want to pull the heads back off to be ported once you do have the money? lol
