I know from Ford Factory performance specs that the '05-07 GT's run 1/4 mile times in 13.4's and a stock 98 Cobra runs 1/4 mile in 13.99. I drove his car and that GT has some really good torque. It also has a traction control button that I believe helps him bigtime. As for my '98 Cobra, there is no check engine light on and it drives great. My take off needs some work, but I beat him on 3rd from a roll and on an empty freeway, around 135-140 mph he pulled on me 3 times after I down shifted to 4th from 5th around 100mph. I also think he almost redlined 4th gear and I shifted more cautiously. So thats how it went down, what do you guys think could have gone wrong?? :'(</p></blockquote><p></p>
