how do u guys feel about these?

Painted my wheels last night. Only got two done becasue it started raining. I dont know how i feel about them. One part of me likes them and another says they dont belong. what do u guys think? Only reason i wanted to paint them is becasue the clear coat was pretty nasty on them and figured i'd just paint the whole deal. lmk

what were they before? if they were brushed aluminum, id say youre crazy. if they were polished or that really dull horrible looking finish, then id say they look much better.

from what i have seen these wheels dont look to good with them painted black w/ the center caps. Plus i was just going to leave the center caps alone in case i ever decide to strip the paint

i really cant decide of weather or not to go ahead and finish the other two or just strip them and put them back to how they were.

decided, they are going back to polished. The paint itself turned out great and the wheels dont look bad. just dont think they look right on my car.

why does everyone paint stockers black? try a different color. like a gunmetal with a metallic flake to it, before you give up on painting wheels.

granted its not the same model, or same wheels, but look how nice these look, especially for stockers, just by changing the shade of them, not overhauling them a completely different color.

i've seen these wheels painted gunmetal on another fourm and i wansnt feeling them. just my opinion. Im just taking them back to polished.

i left the lip of the wheel alone and painted the rest flat black and i get compliments all the time.

It looks dope to me..... Throw the center cap in, put a wheel spacer on the back, and lower it.

ARdoller, im going to take ur advice and atleast try them in gunmetal. ill post up some pics tomorrow. thanks for all the input/advice guys.

idea: paint just the FRONT of the spokes, leaving the insides the gray alloy/chrome (whatever they were before the paint)
