To not romp on the gas pedal after gear change :headbang::headbang:

I picked my car up last night from the shop, went from 2.73 to 4.10 in my auto and i'm having serious trouble attempting to keep my foot from mashing the medal to get a proper break in.

Usually a combination of gas prices and uneven roads will do the trick for me.

Hell I've had 4.10s for almost 8 years now, and I still have to fight the urge! (when my car is actually driveable that is..)
Most of the time I just mat it anyway... cuz it's funnn..

Just romp on it, then return it telling them you misinterpreted "break in". Technically you did break them... :)

How do you resist? Be a broke-ass mo-fo and don't buy them at all.

...though I would kill for 3.73's

Break in? I rolled out of the shop and mashed that loud pedal. Never went WOT, just some hard pulls randomly and for the most part babied the car for a week or two.. Other than that, drive it. I went from 2.73 to 4.10 and the gas mileage in the city isn't bad, highway sucks lol.

Get a couple tickets, that hits the wallet pretty hard. Otherwise, you can't stop. It is in the blood.

If you break it in like a ***** it's gonna be a *****. Drive it like you stole it. And when the cops light you up, downshift and book it

Bad roads don't slow you down if you have a realistic ride height. :)
