how hard is it to replace the e-brake cable

it's not to bad.
I didn't need to pull my console or drop the drive shaft either.
If you put the jack stands under the frame and let the axle hang, then you might get enough clearance to get in above it.
While your in the console you may as well do the fog light mod if you haven't done it yet.

I believe there is a write up in the how-to section. But it is not that hard. If I remember right you can only get the cable from Ford and it costs about $40.00-$50.00

ahhhhhhhhh I hope its cheaper, I said if its over 30 im not going o replace it, hack out the handle and all the hardware, cables and brackets, then call it a day. If its under then Ill replace my broken one lol

I figured you did. But you still need it so you can pull a A-Team if you get into a car chase.

anyone know where i can find a write up on how to replace it? Is it one cable that goes all they to the rear brakes, or is it more then one cable, and i can replace the part of it closer to the handle, because i can see it broken right next to the handle

I don't remember where I got mine from. just call ahead. I have all the local parts places saved into my cell including the stealership

so local parts store did not sell it so called ford $60. Can i just rip one out of a mustang at a pick and pull? or do they need to be new

I'd go with new. They are such a PITA to get to. Besides, unless you can find a low milage car in the salvage lot it's likely to be freyed and almost ready to break anyway
