This is why I didn't say anything about an FMU... People used them for years, no they are not ideal, but sometimes you just don't have that extra 1k laying in the couch cushions for the correct injectors and a custom dyno tune.
This is something I fail to understand.....They'll pay $2-3K for a SC setup, and risk blowing the engine up in their ONLY ride becuase they're not patient enough to save another $500-1000 for proper supporting equipment.
By not retuning the OE computer-spark is all wrong and load is all wrong, and when the engine is under boost(over 100% load)-the EEC is pulling a spark advance number out of thin air because all it knows is 100% load at max. These things all have to be accounted for,or you're simply on borrowed time. If their ONLY ride is that important, and they can't afford to fix it if a catastrophic failure occurs-then they need to step away from the power adders, and leave the car alone until they can afford to fix it if the worst happens..

by the time i supercharge (or turbo) my car, ill should have enough money, or i wont do it at all because i want it done right. i am doing research for far ahead of time.

also, i may need to clean or replace my injectors soon, so is it possible to put in big injectors good enough for a supercharger without any adverse effects(on my naturaly aspirated engine). im worried if i did that, the injectors would spray way too much fuel, or are injectors adjustable?
