Recently, I got 4 new tires. All the same size. Very shortly thereafter. I got wider rear tires and now have an extra pair of front tires (less than 109 miles on them). I am hoping to just hold on to them until the fronts wear out but I don’t know if they need to be stored or kept a certain way to maintain their integrity or what?

Toss em in the garage stacked up. They’ll be fine for now.

and out of the sun. Tire do have a code for when they were made and I think they are only supposed to be good for 10 yrs or something but I thin that is like the "safe to eat" date on food
