I got new drilled/slotted rotors and ceramics last week, and was wanting to get them on before auto fair this past weekend...well i didnt finish till after midnight friday, and we had to be up at 5, needless to say i was dead tired....long story short, im with my club driving towards the speedway around 6am and i see my rear wheel go flying past my car...guess somebody, cough cough me, forgot to finish tightening down the last wheel when i took it off the jack :violent1: drug the brand new rotor about 200 yards, wheel flew almost 300 yards, but the only damage was to the rotor itself, a scuff on the lip of the rim where it bounced off the guard rail, and my bumper and fender got scuffed up pretty good...worst damage though came from me raging at myself, resulting in me punching my quarter panel...now you can see 8 knuckle marks from a mile away :crybaby2: thank god nobody got hurt though, and lesson learned

That sucks man, glad to see you or anyone else not get hurt. I have seen that sh:t happen and it was funny to see but also dangerous for the driver and others. People on the road are like WOOAHH WTF! Bahaha! Sorry it just looks funny when it happens. I guess you can say you gave your car some more character lol. Any pictures of the damage?

I know the feeling and it's not a good one, it happened to me on a lifted 80s blazer coming out of a big turn doing around 60mph.

glad you or the car didn't get FUBAR'D.

I have learned when I feel like throwing or punching something, it's time to walk away for a while.
It took a long time for me to learn that. And a lot longer time spent looking for the part/tool I just whizzed across the room, or fixing the damage I just self inflicted on the vehical.
Just walk away bro, just walk away.

Man that sucks! At least your wheel did hit something/someone that would have opened up some serious problems.
