I got a weird noise!

Hey I heard a weird noise the other day, So i jacked up the rear end and just turned the rear wheel and it would make a popping sound. Any ideas. Some one said it could be the Ujoints in the drive shaft what you think?

when does it do it?
speed related? rpm related? front, rear.

OK i will have to get a video. LOL. I just jacked up the rear and spun the rear tire around back word and front words and about one spin it would go pop pop not loud but annoying. Ill try and get a video tomorrow

i got another drive shaft the other day im gana put in and see if its the Ujoints

I had a buddy once that grenaded the spider gears in the differential and it made a popping sound like that. It started out only when he was turning, but the teeth kept breaking off until it sheared over half of them off and the car wouldn't move after that. It looked like a grenade went off in the differential LOL. To many burnouts and brakestands....
