Okay well I have finally decided to go to a different forced induction. Right now I am running nitrous on a wet shot on my 347,T5, spooled 3:90 geared SN95 and been throwing around the idea of going boost. But I can't make up my mind on either turbo or supercharger. I have been looking a lot at the Kenne Bell 2.1 Blowzilla @ about 14-16 lbs, but I have been also looking at going with a single turbo set up. I have never messed around with a turbo and really know NOTHING about them. I drive the car on the street but its not my daily drive just mainly the weekends.
SO....my question is which would you choose? Which is a better way to go for a car that see the track from time to time but not too often. Any advice will help me A LOT in trying to narrow my decision.

Thanks

choose a budget...

then go a for a ride in a car that has either...then make up your mind....

Keep in mind, a proper fuel system upgrade to handle the boost.....

riding in two cars that have one or the other would be nice, but around me i know NO ONE that is running a turbo on a V8 of any type. I have ridin in a Kenne Bell car. It was I believe an 03 or 04 cobra and I loved it. But he was only running 8 psi, and is a daily driven car.
If there is someone in Kansas that is running a turbo on a V8 and is willing take me for a ride to help me choose then let me know.

keep in mind the 03-04 cobras respons much better to the KB then our 5.0 cars, KB has no cooling options for the sn95 so you are almost forced to run a water methanol injection kit, to get the same power as a centri supercharger or a turbo setup, either that or you have to run more boost, also when choosing your setup take your motor into consideration, a high compression motor isnt going to handle as much boost as a low compression, also the ford 302 block is only good to ~500 rwhp before they like to split. if i were you id go with the turbo setup over the KB ive seen a few people have negative feedback with the 5.0 KB kits, but then again some people love them

First thing I would do is buy a TKO 500/600 and a good clutch.

Any type of FI with a 347 and a T5 is just asking for carnage. Also, do you have an A4/R/Boss block?

If the block is stock, do you have the money to repair it if it splits?

I would do a centrifugal S/C...they run a lot cooler then any KB. Turbos are finicky - they never run perfect day after day like a S/C will.
