I tryed flitz, but..............

    I have just one spot on my exhaust that is rusted. The exhaust sytem is almost brand new it just looks like water has been dripping on it to cause it to rust. I want to get it off and already tryed flitz is there any other way to remove this.

    Have you tried sanding it?

    Steel Wool works wonders!!

    I agree, steel wool works the best. You can even use the one's with the soap already in them, they polish things up well.

    Where do you get steel wool with soap in them?

    I use ffff steel wool and it works great. You can buy Brillo pads at any grocery store with soap in them.

    I'm an idiot, i've been in Europe my whole life (military kid) so some stuff i'm not familiar with, but I know what your talking about.

    are you sure thats rust? it looks like burned on contaminants.
