Message: <blockquote data-quote="mikey94gt" data-source="post: 627694" data-attributes="member: 11136">I would add a MSD 6A, Jacobs electronics or Mallory to it with a MSD BLaster coil or equivalent. other than that, carry a spare TFI module and coil with you. also, MSD has a plug and play harness for 5.0 TFI cars that plugs in between the coil and stock wiring so you dont butcher your stock harness. Set your timing to 14* ahead and add some new copper core spark plugs, good wires and cap and your set. For reference, I run a MSD Digital 6 box (for the rev limiter), MSD Blaster TFI coil, Autolite spark plugs (stock heat index), Jacobs wires and MSD cap and rotor. I also have a known good TFI module in the trunk, along with a stock coil.</blockquote>
