Ever since I bought the car, my mom has bitched about how loud it is. And since she's best friends with all of our damn elderly neighbors, she takes their complaints concerning the topic to heart and therefore is sure to let me know about it. I understand that the car has some volume to it, but really... there are several trucks and other vehicles in the surrounding houses just as loud as mine. To make the story short, I'm being forced to quiet it. My dad thinks that simply swapping the muffler is going to help. It may, but I refuse to sacrifice a decent tone for less volume. I understand the the ORH will be a prime factor in adding volume to ANY setup, but I'm left pondering questions I thought you guys could answer.I'm looking for the cheapest way to quiet it down somewhat significantly and still have a great tone. If I go with a muffler, I'm going to first have to figure out what size muffler will work. The Mac catback was on there when I bought the car and I know nothing about pipe size, inlets, dimensions, etc. If I can find that out, what brand would work best?OR... Would a new midpipe be the best option for quieting it down? That's obviously more expensive and I'm trying to stay as cheap as decently possible, but I understand that a simple muffler change may not knock the volume down as much as I'd like (if a replacement is even possible).What do you think folks?</blockquote>
