Im selling my car.

Ive been debating it..and I'm pretty sure Ill be selling my car.

I'm very worried about the PI swap with the Hi-Tech stage 2 cams installed..the motor is making a kind of funny noise..I youtubed it, found an engine that had a similar noise, and he had some crazy shit happen to his motor.

I may be paranoid, and I may need time for the motor to adjust, as I've heard the PI swap needs 1000K miles or so to sit correctly, or whatever..

But its making a ticking sound, and I'm very afraid its PTV issues. I have yet to get on the car, and now I'm especially afraid to.

We spun the motor by hand without interferance..and I'm thinking it if was PTV issues I would have noticed it by now by driving it >200 miles since the swap..I dont know.
We did what HiTech told us to do, and made sure to remove enough of the bottom of the valve to clear for it to avoid having PTV issues..but..maybe it wasnt enough. I dont know.

If this is the case, Ill probably be selling the car for 2500 or more. Might part it out..I dont know. Im just very worried..maybe Im a little low on oil, as it was leaking a little bit from a loose valve cover. I dont know..

bro you cant ball up like that and retreat whenever something goes wrong.. ask any dude on this forum, frustration is going to be a #1 at times, think about it, were all modding 10+ year old high mileage cars.. things are going to happen, and when people take new things on new things will happen.. just sit tight, do some research and make a determination on whats going on. dont sell your car because of whats wrong with it. im sure that you'll figure it out and kick your self in the ass for posting this thread. trust me i've been there. and so have alot of other people on this forum...

but if you stick to your plan and really want to sell your car/part it out i got first dibs on your cams. or hell i may just buy the entire car.

Im just very worried about the noise it's makin..Ive just heard itll have a noisy valvetrain/engine noise for 1000 miles or so..I dont know. Just real worried.

Plus, I have absolutely no money for a new motor..Im so broke..Im a college kid living on my own..and paying for my own stuff..Ugh. Hopefullly I'm just paranoid..
