Message: <blockquote data-quote="ttocs" data-source="post: 1213341" data-attributes="member: 11896"><p>yes if you have a hard top and no tweeters you have 5 x 7's or 6 x 8's(you can use either because of how the basket is shaped) or if you want a little better selection of speakers you can look at round 6.5" or 5" speakers and you would need to make a baffle to mount the speaker in, that then mounts into the car.  There will not be a noticeable difference in sound other then from one brand to another.  Some people will tell you that a round speaker sounds better then an oval one and that is a bunch of crap.  Take a cd you are familiar with into your local stereo shop and listen to every speaker in their sound board and you will find something that will work for you.</p></blockquote><p></p>
