blow-thru has its advantages and is usually recommending on 99% of turbo cars on a twin turbo you have to go blow-thru and it is possible to go with a draw-thru with a single turbo but having one over the other wont cause an issue with tuning.. i'd recommend going with a blow-thru for a turbo setup though

One more thing 5.0boi and I'll get out of your thread man.. :eek:ccasion14: This chart is something that confuses me even more. According to this, with the correct ammount of fuel pressure, 24 lb injectors can take you over the 500 hp threshhold. It also notes that bigger injectors are often not needed and harder to tune.. :BangHead:

n/a they can support a lot more than most people would suspect but put a s/c or t/c that has a higher bsfc and it drops; you can always do a mail order tune and do it that route so don't rule out all possibilities and also you might have to drive 2/3 hours for a good tune but you get what you pay for

With the use of an fmu you can get away with more power on undersized injectors. But like I said, it is near impossible to get a good tune with because of the inconsistancy of the fmu. It would be ideal to buy properly sized injectors for the application, ditch the fmu and hack into the ecm for proper tuning. In the article they aren't doing any tuning. They're just bolting crap on and hoping to trick the ecm. A "calibrated" maf isn't needed if you install the proper transfer function in the tune. Also tuning a car with "big" injectors isn't a problem if the tuner knows wtf he is doing. Good luck
