My pops got me a new stereo to try out on the mustang. It's a pretty cheap brand but it has a 7 inch touch screen (I guess beggars can't be choosers). So here's the deal, the manual says that in order for the stereo to play a DVD I have to connect one wire to the parking brake and one to the reverse and have them engaged (I guess you can't have anything playing while the car is moving). I hooked one of the wires up to the parking brake (not the ground) but I don't know where to hook up the other one, my car is a 5 speed. Anyone ever done this? Or is there any other way around it, so that I can play a DVD while the car is moving?

if I connect the ebrake cable it doesn't work, and that still leaves me with a the reverse wire which I can't just ground.
