Yea, pretty much the factory h-pipe has a clip welded to it that you can fasten the smog pump pipe too. Keeps it from banging on stuff and making noise. The x-pipe from American Muscle didn't have anything to fasten the smog pump pipe and just came with a rubber hose to connect it to the cats. That's all that keeps it from hanging free which seems a little strange to me but I guess that's why they call it aftermarket. The pipe seems generally sturdy with just the hose though...I would consider removing mine but I need to pass emissions where I live. That crap sucks for changing plugs on the passenger side though... :grin:</blockquote>
