What other mods do you have? heads, cam... what? I've heard good things about the holley systemax, and the Edelbrock RPM

I would go ahead and do heads while you are at it if budget allows. You are not going to gain much from the cam without heads and you will also need to upgrade valve springs.

As for th intake the cobra is a good choice in a nice little H/C/I build and you can have it ported when you want to go bigger.

I read a posting on the different intakes, and it showed up to 5500 rpm's the cobra and gt-40 intakes were the best. I can't remember where the posting was but check it out. It appeared to be backed up with dyno numbers.

I'd look around for a used Cobra upper/lower. The systemax system would be a good investment, otherwise.

With the stock E7 heads you would probably be better off getting one of the GT40 Explorer intakes. Save your money and get a good set of heads and then start thinking about the Trick Flow intake or Edelbrock, or that Typhoon clone intake.

Like a couple of the guys have already suggested..... It just isnt worth it with the stock heads
