You could possibly lay some mat and epoxy over a few pieces, but to actually make it look nice is not so easy lol. Then it'd be thicker and have fitment issues. Casting the parts is best but costs $$ to make evrything. Luckily molds are fairly cheap, mostly wood with some glass and tooling gelcoat. but the time that goes into them is ridiculous.

Im not sure what the OP is doing, he said I would have to ship him my pieces so maybe he is just covering them?

Unless he's using them as plugs to cast molds off of. Finally I feel helpful about something haha! What I do every day has been brought up in a thread ;p

He probably just asked them not to post the prices in the thread. Though like Justin said, our cars are old and we are not likely to fork out serious dough on interior pieces. Unless they had a rig set up already for it and could sell a bunch (at least 30) to bring the cost down.

Can't share prices? wtf. That's why these threads are lame. And if he's just wrapping pieces they sell kits where you can do it yourself, and from the sound of things it's going to be a lot cheaper.

I agree. What's the point of this. Just throw the prices out there for what everyone is asking for. Big deal.

Thats why i said it was sketchy.

Normally when you sell an item there's a price. I'm not too sure why the prices are to be kept lowkey.

Folks that requested a price received a quote. If you have some work you are looking to have done let me know & I will quote you.

I'm not a forum vendor so pricing should not be posted.

Then don't you need to have 100 posts before you're selling stuff on this site? Seriously what's the big secret if you'll just tell everyone who asks anyways? Everyone posting in this thread asking about parts is interested in the price so it makes sense to let people know what certain parts would cost and whether or not they're being made completely out of CF or if they're just being wrapped.

ReplicaR you don't want people to look twice at your car but you cut a hole in your hood to stick a heat extractor vent in and you want wider fenders with vents at the rear, but think the car will look stock?

Functionality above everything else. I rarely do anything for just looks. If it adds speed, its on. And if it looks good as well, that's just an added bonus.
