And getting up to 5th when starting in 2nd may not be too bad, but starting in 1st, and you need to turn a lot of RPM to not hold up anyone behind you. I already said how I felt about using second gear to start. If it were an automatic, I wouldn't think twice about 4.10's because you don't have to do the shifting. The highway is just a compromise. But to have to do all the shifting and a buzzy ride at 80MPH? No sir. Not for me, and many others.That is just my opinion though, and same to you. Not arguing, just debating right?</blockquote>
