Isolaters?

K ima noob thinkin about lowering his car, read the lowering spring thread and people are talkin about isolaters in their setups. What are they and whats their purpose? I know its stupid, you guys can beat me with a stick when its all over :whip:

they stop the metal on metal contact between control arm and spring. i recommend keeping them in. I have mine out in the rear cuz they were torn to shit and making noise anyway. got new ones on order though.
