The theme was best show car builds. These are some of SN95Forums best "show stoppers" builds with high attention to detail and unique features! Both "completed" and "in progress" builds were eligible.

Nominees;
KidK9 ProKiller ttocs

KidK9

Thank you very much for the nomination! I originally purchased this car when I was 21 years old and slowly added some custom touches. As I was in college, I slowly started to tear down the engine to add some performance parts. Life got in my way and I left the engine apart for too long and rusted the cylinder walls. At this time, it was rebuilt to a 306. I added a Vortech supercharger, but it wasn't enough. After awhile, I took the car to K&K Custom Mustangs in Tennessee for a shaved engine bay. Two and a half years later the car is finally only a couple of weeks from completion and there's only a few stones left unturned :)

I am Honored to have been nomitated. A short story on the car is kind of hard to do since I have a long history with it. This car started my mustang obsession when it was originally purchased by my mother in late '93. I think we had the car maybe a week before a friend in high school at the time called it the momstang and it stuck. I have learned a lot on this car from how to install my first alarm over 15 yrs ago(which led to a 10+yr career) to more recently amature body work from fender flares to smoothing in body lines and now paint. It has been in a state or repair/improvement now for a year and a half but I hope to have it painted and on the road for the summer(said that last year too). If I had to define where I am trying to take the car now in a single word it would be "Flow" as I want everything to flow nicely from the front to the back.

Body Modifications
I smoothed in a Shinoda Chin spoiler to the stock GT bumper
Custom made Carbon fiber grill insert
VIS 2000 Cobra R Carbon Fiber Hood with flush mounted/smooth Aerocatch hood pins
Waiting to purchase Carbon Fiber Cowl
Almost ready to skin roof with real Carbon fiber
Kindigit Designs smooth door handles
smoothed rear brake vents
Gas cap delete
Small rear fender flare(1/2")
Antenna delete
retrofit headlights
Side Exhaust Kit
Smoothed an S281 spoiler to the GT decklid
Smooth 3rd brake light
Smooth license plate frame
Custom laser cut, flush mounted fender badges with carbon fiber background and lighting(blue for shows orange for turn signal)
2003 cobra brakes powder coated a custom burned copper/black color that will match the wheels soon to come

Engine
Smooth engine bay with wire tuck
all brackets and accessories powder coated gloss black
Fuse boxes(stock and aftermarket) are mounted behind plexi for easy viewing, in the fender for easy access.
Polished Vortech V-3 Si trim supercharger
Snow meth kit with custom tank
Polished and ported Cobra upper intake
Polished 75mm Edelbrock throttle body
Anderson power pipe
Lightning 90mm MAF
42 lb injectors
Trickflow 170cc heads and stage 1 cam
BBK shorty ceramic coated headers
Magnaflow high flow Catted X-pipe
Dynamax side exhaust mufflers and tips
Custom electronic cut outs that bypass the muffler but use the same exhaust tips

Interior
Corbeau GT2 leather microsuede seats
Microsued covering the ceiling
Redline leather goods shift boot, brake boot, and arm rest cover, and steering wheel cover
Custom made A-pillar pod for a PLX design gauge scree
Custom made steering wheel dual-pod for PLX design gauge screens
Explorer overhead console with Ridetech E3 air ride controller flush mounted in it
Bel escort 9500CI radar/laser detector integrated into the stock clock pod/mach tweeter.
I was in the middle of a crazy stereo install when I had the accident. It will be finished with a 3 way component set up from consisting of a 1" tweeter, a 5" mid in the kick panels and a 9" woofer in each door(phoenix gold Ti Elite). Bottom end will be filled in with a 15" Image dynamics ID max sub all powered by PG elite amps.

Love these 3 builds!
KidK9 - absolutely amazing car, very detailed and well done. btw, in your submission you mention the first "attempt" at the rebuild which ended in a rusty block - is that where the paint scheme comes from?
ProKiller - love the way the car comes together and the car has a very unique stance to do it. Makes it look very aggressive.
ttocs - love all the unique electrical and body mods. Always come up with really interesting projects.

Very hard to vote for this month...

I thought I saw somewhere it was for cars under construction. I probably would have declined the nomination if I realized the others were complete. Oh well good luck to everyone.
