thats not plastidip tho. that is a perm mod they are doing. the benefit to plastidip is the ability to literally peel it off

Correct me if I'm wrong, but how is this new? Rhino lining has been doing this for years. I used to be heavily involved in offroading and 10+ years ago you started seeing this on jeeps. I can see it on off road trucks because the paint gets scratched and then rusts, But on a mustang? Now we just have to wait for some idiot with too much money do this to a hard to find one and ruin it.

I could see covering your vehicle in bed liner material if it's a jeep, work truck, piece of farm equip, etc.... but sports cars ??? Sorry. No.

But anyway, plastidip is entirely different than bed liner.

My co-worker covered his whole 90's chevy in bedliner. It's... meh. Doesn't really matter on an old farm pickup.

Agreed. The bad part is that instead of spraying on the bedliner, my co-worker put it on with a paint roller. It has a realllly weird texture to it now, it almost looks like someone stuck tissue paper in the paint.

Sounds like my great uncle. Painted "racing stripes" on his van with a roller. And they had runs and drips going all down the sides lmao

Lol, thankfully it's not THAT bad. It just has a strange texture that most bedliner doesn't have.
