hahahahaha, the first time i did a burn out in my car (which was the first one ive ever done), i revved the car up to about 5k, dropped the clutch (aka = release it as fast as you can) and then slammed on the brakes so i could get a nice burnout going. stupid me didnt realize the corner of my shoe caught the clutch pedal and dragged it down with the brake, so i was sitting there doing a burnout for about 30-60 seconds with the clutch halfway in. needless to say, the clutch was replaced about a week later. lol :hammer:

just my opinion but i think king cobras are junk, they are made by valeo also just for the record.mine blew apart on for no good reason on day, clutch disc melted to the pressure plate.got a spec stage 2 after that and after that another one,im pretty happy with spec stage 2,id suggest it to anyone.

My King Cobra is fine. The pedel effort is less than stock. I replaced my throw out bearing about a year after clutch install.

My Valeo/King Cobra clutch has been in my GT for over a year and 8,000+ miles with no problems. I can't tell you how many 1/8 and 1/4 mile passes I have on it, but its a lot! :D

I"ve driven my buddies 98 cobra with his King Cobra and Spec 1, both had about the same pressure feel and both held mostly the same. The only difference I felt was when the Spec grabbed alittle more harder.

the king cobra clutch is known to go both ways, its either going to be super stiff or super soft. what controls this? only
Viagra :rollinglaugh:
I actually had a KC before I swapped trannys and liked it, granted it's not for big power!
