V8RUMBL I got 5K white LED reverse light bulbs off V-LEDS.COM.. Yeah they're not cheap, but I wanted good bulbs that will last and really help light up behind the car.. Here's some shots. No flash in any shots..

Here's a shot with a 96-98 tail on the left, and the 94-95 horizontal on the right.. As you can see the 96-98 tail makes everything a lot brighter, so the LED in my reverse light is almost blinding.

The bulb i posted has more of a direct out the back light beam which i thought was going to be more useful than just a buttload of smds in every direction. did it give a lumen output rating on any of yalls lights?

Here's the specs on my reverse bulbs
A High-Mode output of 510 lumens, combined with an even spread of light, makes this bulb perfect for all applications.

Features:

 • 18 Radial-firing 0.5W LED's
 • 3 Forward-firing 0.5W LED's for direct light
 • 6:1 high/low ratio for increased visibility
 • Improved LED placement for a more precise focal point in the reflector
 • 320 degree viewing angle
 • Large, barrel style aluminum heat sink for better reliability and performance
 • OK for DRL applications
 • 50000 hour lifespan
 • 1 year warranty

LEDs can definitely range a lot in brightness, I've considered swapping my HID fogs for LEDs but i'm afraid they won't be nearly bright enough.

Same here!

Some of the new LED Headlights are as bright as HID's.

The kits on that page above V-leds look pretty good but I don't want to be first.
