well, i finally decided on and bought another car.
I got a 1997 thunderbird lx. It has PI heads and cams, vicJR manifold, 73mm mafs, 24lb injectors, 2.5in dual exhaust with flow 40's, trans go shift kit with 383 gears, 70mm throttlebody and a high flow oil pump..It also came with an entire xeon body kit that ive already put on the sideskirts to. You can see it in the pic with my finger in the topleft..'
You guys like this one?
She drives very nice even though sofar its untuned..It rips like a rocket and squaks them loud and hard into 2nd.The powerband on this car is AWSOME !.. PI BABY PI ! o ya and the interior is veryvery clean SAWEEET.
all i plan on doing is a cowlhood when i can afford it, aluminum driveshaft and underdrive pullies..and mount the rest of the bodykit and get some bodywork done and a piantjob..few years but it will be a nice car when all is done.

Thats what I was thinking.. I definitely see NPI valve covers

Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 2!

That and look at how his dipstick tube is positioned compared to mine,

I'm using NPI valve covers on PI heads, but look how close it sits to the dipstick

its deff got PI heads and cams...no way the few boltons would make the power this cars makes..
and there no such thing as pi and npi valve covers, its romeo and windsor..and pi has both romeo and winsor aka 11 bolts and 13 bolt valve covers...and also a vic JR is a PI intake, i know you can put it on npi heads but it would bogg the car down and this is far from bogged down, even un tuned shes a rocket.

Lets not get carried away it's not a rocket ship, a PI motor makes 260hp compared to a 225hp NPI motor so realistically yes a couple bolt ons can easily put you at 260hp

And there is such thing as PI valve covers...
PI valve covers...

the heads were off a vic and he reused the covers he said..he also told me what he shimmed the rear gears at,how much he spent on the new valve seals and had the heads gone through..plus he seemed like an honest guy, he actually bought some of the parts that are on the car off of me when i parted out my red cougar..
and didnt the oil filler come on 13bolt valve covers only and for one year if im correct..?
if you check tccoa.com my swap is identical to what ud see on their tech article..
lol but now you have me 2nd guessing but im pretty shur its swapped..it just has such nice power.

and in ur pic im guessing that thats a grand marquese or crown vic by that side oilfiller and intake orientation.
