I absolutely love Saleens! But then, I am a little biased. I agree with the earlier post by 96s281, around my area, I am probably one of the only guys with saleens on my car and chrome at that. I say if you are wanting a change, then go for it. Definitely a completely different direction in wheels, so it should feel like a major change in the feel of the car. Hope that makes sense.

Oh, and after thinking about it, if you want something you know no one else will have, go with Bogart's line of street wheels. Expensive and very elite. even I don't have a pair! j/k.

the only thing i dont like about saleens is that wheel companies offe rthe same variation of that wheel to many different style cars. on my 95 z28 before i got into mustangs i had those same exact looking wheels on it but they where eagle alloys, so when i see them thats what i refer to them as. but to each there own you wheels are absolutely nasty bro. wish i could have found those before i bought my chrome termi's

To each his/her own. Do what you like; the point is, your car is sick Soddy, doesn't matter what wheels are on it, the stance and setup of the car is on point. And the truth is, Bullits, Saleens, FR500's, Y2K's, Cobra R's, 03 Cobra's, 03 Cobra deep dish have all been done and we can search our hearts out and find endless pics of these wheels on SN95's. Who cares if the wheels are played out. What is the definition of played out anyway? The Saleens will look sick, I say go for it. You can't go wrong either way, your car is nice.
if you ask me, the only wheels that i would ever even consider to be "played out" would be bullitts. and thats mainly because they came/come on factory cars as well as being the top aftermarket wheel for the Mustang. you cant really count the couple thousand people in the entire country that come to congregate on one or two message boards that may all have similar setups, to be "the population" of mustang owners. on a daily basis, i see more bone stock mustangs than anything else. unless im meeting a couple people from a local club, i hardly ever see a "modified" (visually) mustang on the road, and what you see on the road in-person is how you should be judging whether something is "played out" or not. theres hundreds of thousands, probably millions of mustang owners across the country and around the world. it just so happens to be that we have a very concentrated group of a couple thousand people across maybe 5 or 6 major message boards, that take an interest in modifying their car. even if this site had say 10,000 people, and every single member had Saleens on their car, i still wouldnt say its anywhere near "played out" in comparison to the all the other Mustangs on the road.

I really like the wheels on your car Soddy. I like Saleens but I think you wheels looks pretty sex on it. They're different from everything else. But go with what YOU like. The Saleens do look good, but its a completely differnt style than what I'm used to seeing with your car.

Nothing is really played out.... bullits on 1999-04 mustang maybe.... but they're stock, and still looks good? I have yet to see a sn with saleens in my town.... I have seen two with cobra r's, and mine is the only one with factory bullits i have seen (in my town/city) surprisingly, and there is a shit ton of mustangs I see. The only reason it seems played out, is because it looks sick as hell so everyone wants to do it, on a forum.... Your car looks b/a with the rims you currently have, but with your stance you could put 13'' steelies on and still be the shit.
