looking for steen racing

new to the forum here but i have a buddy of mines car that has steen racing stage 3 heads and it broke one valve spring. trying to get ahold of them or does anybody know what he uses. if i could get a phone number that would be great.

Steens been out of business a few years. I don't think he will peak his head in the mustang community ever again or at least on the east coast. He left a lot of folks pissed off.

More then likely he used an older discontinued comp springs.

From first person accounts from people in the area of Va/MD. he was into illegal extra curricular activities. He went out of business. ive seen personally about 3-4 shops with HIS customers cars under tarps. they were held for liens/ransom. Steen outsourced some work and never paid up. The late jim travers was sponsored by steen. when i bought parts from him, steen held his car for ransom. Jim had tons of expensive parts on his car. a massive twin turbo 2-valve that was first in the 9s back in 08-09. Steen just ducked out and split. he worked for performance unlimited in VA too.

He went across the street to performance unlimited for about a year, then from there to a machine shop in va beach. He has since completely disappeared. He also took parts off one customers cars, and put it on another. I went with a friend about 3-4 years ago out to Yorktown to pick up a supercharger, and there was a green SN95 turbo mustang that Steen had at their shop. It was having to be finished. The guy who owned it left it at steen racing while he was deployed to be worked on, and they never did anything to it. Sucks, because at one time, he was known as one of the top shops on the east coast.
