When I?m running my car at WOT the car cuts out with sputtering and backfire. This only happens when im at wide open throttle and above 4,500 rpms. I?ve tried many things to fix the problem; new Cap, rotor and wires. Cleaned Mass air sensor. My best guess is the fuel pump is going and can no longer produce sufficient fuel pressure at wide open throttle at high rpms.

Maybe youe fuel injectors are a bit dirty, you could try running some Seafoam engine cleaner through it it's worth a shot, just don't put any in the oil use 2/3 sucked up through the vac line and put the remaining 1/3 in the gas tank. Enjoy the smoke show!

I rebuilt the injectors with new o-rings and pintle caps a few hundred miles ago. I also ran a injector cleaner a few tanks ago.
