actually the boss 302 is faster on the dragstrip because it has launch control. It does 0-60 in 4 seconds flat and 12.3 in the quater mile thats a few tenths quicker to 60 and two tenths quicker on the 1/4. At least from the magazine test from motortrend and car and driver, but Mustang monthly said they got a gt500 to run like an 11.8 completely stock so idk :dontknow: either way badass car.

let me rephrase someone just compared all for idk which mag or site but they did the 6, 8, boss, and 500 and they said on a curvier track the boss would've won but on the track they used the gt500s power advantage won out

Im pretty sure 9 out of 10 times the boss would beat the GT500, there's a video with the boss running 11.7 in drag radials with the window sticker and dealer tags still on it.

Yeah thats damn fast. Plus the fact it would rip it up at the track, id take on over a GT500 personally.

PS: Good to see it went to a guy like that, not some total rich collector. I like his idea of selling it (at double, which he could get) and just get another, basically free.
