It wont. There should be a writeup on how to make it work, but tis definitely not a plug and play job. the newer Mach 460's are wired different than our early units.

Welcome man!

It can be done for sure though, you just need to get funky with some solder and wiring diagrams.

Not sure on your bass issue, but I'll tell you what I did in my car and maybe that will give you some insight.

i kept all the Mach 460(including headunits) and just threw a small 8" sub with an amp in the trunk, took car of any and all bass issues :)

yeah the bass was fine with the stock head unit, my buttons were just all faded and junk looked ugly, but i may just put it back in just for sound quality...

appriciate the fast response man... just an idea. I swapped my stock unit with a aftermarket, but the bass sucks.

are the subs on at all or is there just not enough signal going to them? One = 0 bass output the 2nd you just turn up the bass till the tweeter is popping when the woofer is just starting to play.

Both of these are fixable.

The center bezel should make no difference on the wiring other then the switches the double din has on it.

never liked them mach systems...they sound ok and all but JUST SO MUCH WIRING..yank it out and wires ur interiors to an amp in the trunk and then have the ablilty to add subs or what ever you need..also ur new head unit could play any mp3 if its a half way decent one and have numerious frequency controls to set the music exactly how you want it...my 300 interiors sounds will stomp even the best moch systems, half the price and half the hassle..

and if the subs from the mach are not loud or distorting unde even low volume there is a bad signal wire, head units or shotty ground wire..

the mach system was a great system for its time. I would love to see a modern system for half the price the factory nav systems head units are 2x the price of the mach. There are some wires but honestly its the easiest premium system to integrate into and with some tweeking a new head unit will make it sound even better. Unfortunatly there are alot of people that have let themselfs get frustrated over it and think "you have to yank it all out and start fresh", which is not the case.
