What were your 60ft times? That is one huge factor in how well you will do, the run is lost or won in the first 60ft most of the time. [QUOTE="Venom351R, post: 362120, member: 10407"] Mine didn't have much trouble :dunno: Should be mid to low 12's after some mods this summer. To the thread starter- Its good that you got to the track and learned some stuff from it. What were your 60ft times? That is one huge factor in how well you will do, the run is lost or won in the first 60ft most of the time. I was stuck at 13.2 and 13.1 for awhile b/c I couldnt get the 60ft times I really needed, once I changed to some better DR's and dropped my 60ft time I banged out two 12 second runs back to back. You need to start somewhere so if beating a Tiburon makes you happy then fine. There were many cars I was worried about beating when I first started going to the track a lot but Ive taken down my fair share of Camaoro's including LS1's, other mustangs fox bodies and SN95's N/A and Supercharged, GTO's, and quite a bit of Honda's, Integra's and those types. Im hunting for the bigger fish in the pond now, I at least want to race other V8's. Then again when I get up against some slow turd 4 cly I dont have to worry about the other car and can just concentrate more on my run. Go to the track more, improve your driving and you will get better every time. As far as LS1's being slow or crap or turds they are not they are fast cars stock and modded then run HARD!!!! I like Mustangs more but the LS1 motor is not garbage for sure.
