Most people are good though, I've never had a problem myself, but even from Summit Racing the PI intake is under 200 bucks, and you can get the cams from any 99-up Ford at the junkyard.
Lower intake is the actual intake manifold. The pleunum, also refered to as a elbow, is the same on all 2 valve motors, along with the throttle body.
also yeah, just checked out summit racing, and a pi intake costs 204, for 2001-2003 production intake manifold.
Ive also been trying to find ajunkyard in my area. trying to look it up on yellow books .com hasnt helped (guess i could look in the yellow pages).

Your best bet is to get a SCT Xcal2 with a "canned" tune or better yet a custom
dyno tune will gain you alittle more.
I bet you will only get 5-10 rwhp being your only mod on a NPI car.

300 would be really optomistic.
You'd need at the least ported heads, and then its still a maybe.

are those VT cams NPI spec with th 500 lift or PI 550/ and you think a typhon intake (profetional products) would yield some more power?
