Hello all I have a 2002 Honda accord that I am going to be swapping with a 1995 ford f150 302 the best thing I could think of is come to the sn95 302 forums as I plan on completing the drivetrain with a 5 speed and mustang rear axle I am still Daily driving my Honda and I plan so start the swap as soon as I replace a head gasket and fuel tank on my 85 f250 and I have a lot of unknown information about the trans setup slave and master cylinder axle drive shaft gauge cluster carb or efi and ignition things I’m not the brightest I’m young and dumb and need some help so any thoughts and concerns are greatly appreciated

Hey man, welcome to the forum. I will start by saying, we love oddball swaps here and there are some very bright minds that will be able to help. Post up some pictures when you get things going and don’t be afraid to ask questions, but also be willing to take advice.

Side note; add some punctuation to your posts so it’s a little bit easier to follow your thoughts.

Again, welcome, and I’m looking forward to your progress.

Thanks man, I’m really bad at the whole punctuation thing lol. I will definitely post up some more pics.
Some of my first questions I have to figure out is everything I should use specifically, transmission and rear axle. I know for sure I want to keep it a five speed and I don’t have a ton of money to be thrown at this.

I appreciate everything in advance, thanks!

For reference this is the clapped 6th gen (best looking) Honda accord. It’s Very beat up but is completely rust free so I won’t have problems with it wanting to split apart.

Welcome! Ambitious project. Kudos! Where ya from? Does the Accord not have a decent motor?

Welcome! This will be a sick swap! You looking at running it with a cable clutch? Or a hydraulic set up?

Could be a really cool swap. There’s a gent on YouTube who swapped in a sbc. But he did have to do a lot of cutting and fabrication. The main issue is your Honda is fwd correct? Your most likely going to need to cut into the fire wall and floor pan and build a tunnel to fit the trans and then obviously a crossmember of some sort etc

I wanna keep as much of the factory firewall as possible I’m thinking mounting the rad in the trunk and adding a vents and what not but I know I’ll definitely have to chop the tunnel

Love the ambition, but you'd probably be cheaper putting a new motor in the Accord and buying a Mustang outright. Welcome aboard either way!
